Seillean has been involved in the following:

Virgin Money Unity Arena – The UKs first Covid pandemic festival site. It ran for 6 weeks and Ben Crabb led the health and safety, devising, developing and writing the event safety plans to gain approval from the Local Authority, Public Health England (now UKHSA) and DCMS. It ran for 6 weeks between August 2020 and September 2020

Saudi Arabia – MDL Beast Soundstorm. Ben worked as one of the six health and safety advisors for the world breaking and record setting dance party in the desert. Attended by 125,000 people per day for 4 days with dance music acts from all over the world.

Alexander Stadium – Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games. Ben was the CDM Project lead and Deputy Head of Health and Safety between Jan 2021 and September 2022. He went on to become the Head of Health and Safety, leading the health and safety for the UKs biggest multisport event in the UK since the 2012 London Olympics.

CDM Webinar:

During the 2020 Pandemic lockdown, Ben gave a webinar to event professionals around the world through a series of events put on by ‘Safe Events’. The webinar given by Ben focused on CDM Regulation’s and their impact upon events.

Coast Fest 2023, 2024 & 2025

North Tynesides new grass roots music festival for 2023 was created by John and Rachael (see pic below with Ben) to bring a three day music festival to North Tyneside to showcase local grass roots musicians. Ben and Seillean were contacted by Coast Fest to help steer the safety and event safety planning for the event.

The event was so successful but it also won the UK Festival Awards – Best New Music Festival Award 2023, and was nominated for best Grass Roots Music Festival in 2024, no mean feat!

Awaken

The first event and festival Ben and Donna became involved with and one which they still support providing Health and Safety advice to each year. Awaken is a time of Celebration and has a strapline of FAITH, FAMILY, FUN over the august bank holiday at Lincolnshire Showground.

Krankenhaus

A bespoke and niche festival run by the BAFTA and Mercury award winning band ‘Sea Power’ (formerly British Sea Power) and Muncaster Castle near Ravensglass, Cumbria. Ben and Donna from Seillean helped support the creation of the event safety management plan and provided advice and guidance to the 2024 event.
